Cherokee Metro District has been plagued with a reputation of dishonesty, infighting, and bad behavior by board members who have been in place for far too long. We believe the reputation of Cherokee Metro can change and become respected within the larger community.
​
The citizen’s parks committee should be reinstated. The previous board and the majority of the current board has rejected our statement that our parks are an important asset to our community and our property values. We disagree! Neighborhood parks impact our quality of life in many ways.
Citizens should be treated with respect. Citizens should expect honest and open communication. Board actions should not be taken in the darkness.
We require transparency and open communication with the Board.
