Neighborhood Parks: Causes

PARK PROBLEMS

Did you know

CITIZEN PARK COMMITTEE

The citizen’s parks committee should be reinstated.

The previous board and the majority of the current board appear to disagree with our statement that our parks are an asset and impact our property values. We disagree! Neighborhood parks impact our quality of life in so many ways. The citizens should be the ones to prioritize projects and guide park development.

PRONGHORN MEADOWS

We want things done

Pronghorn Meadows has endured meetings, emails, and endless requests and promises. It has taken years but progress has been made.

CLAREMONT RANCH

Park fees $33,600

We can do better than this.

The previous board refused to spend any money on materials to repair the concrete wall at The Pinon Jay Park. They would only allow employees to rearrange the existing panels but provided ZERO dollars for any material – not one dollar! Employees were forced to shim panels will rock and broken concrete found on the site. The Claremont Ranch neighborhood pays approximately $33,600.00 in park fees annually yet the current Board refused to spend any money on the repair. We think this is unacceptable. Claremont Ranch needs representation at CMD!
